Compass cleaning did a great job cleaning our windows. Ryan was very respectful and professional. I can't believe how clear the windows look. I didn't realize that the windows would stay clean even after a rain. No water spots! I would highly recommend them!

Step 1 of 3
Tell us about your home.
How many windows does your home have?

Count each window as 1. Ranch homes are usually 10–15. Two-story homes are usually 16–25. If you're not sure, a rough estimate is fine. we confirm before we start.

Do you have sliding glass doors, bay windows, or large picture windows?

These take more time than a standard window and affect your estimate.

Step 2 of 3
A few questions about your windows.
Do your windows have French panes (divided lites)?
French panes have a grid that creates many small individual panes from one window. each needs hand-wiping, which adds time.
Do you have storm windows? (separate insulating panels that sit over your primary windows)
Storm windows are extra insulating panels installed over your primary windows. Cleaning them means removing, cleaning all four glass surfaces, and reinstalling.
Hard water stains or hazing on your windows?
White mineral deposits or a cloudy film on the glass. A small number of affected windows adds a minor surcharge. Widespread hard water staining requires an in-person assessment before we can price it accurately.
Do you have solar screens (also called sun screens or shade screens)?
These are dark, tightly-woven mesh panels. usually charcoal or black. that cover your entire window from the outside to block UV and heat. They look much darker than a regular bug screen and typically stay on year-round. If your windows look slightly tinted or shaded from outside, you likely have them. They need to be carefully removed, cleaned, and reinstalled during the visit.

Common Questions

Most Fort Wayne homes run between $150 and $350 depending on the number of windows, number of stories, and whether you want exterior only or interior and exterior. Exterior-only service on a typical ranch starts around $120. Interior and exterior on a two-story home usually falls between $200 and $350. Use the instant estimate tool above for a price specific to your home. no contact details required.
Most Fort Wayne homeowners clean their windows once or twice a year. Spring is the most popular time, after pollen season winds down across Allen County. Fall works well too, clearing summer buildup before winter. How often makes sense for your home depends on your surroundings, how much traffic the house sees, and what results you want to maintain. There is no wrong answer.
No. and we back that up with our 7-Day Rain Guarantee. Properly cleaned glass has no mineral residue left to trap airborne particles when it gets wet, so rain dries clean. What makes windows look dirty after rain is pre-existing oxidation and mineral buildup. once that is gone, rainwater is just water. If you notice spots within 7 days of your cleaning, we come back and touch up affected panes at no charge.
Most homes take 1.5 to 5 hours depending on the size of the home and the level of service requested. A smaller exterior-only job can be done in under 2 hours. A larger home with interior and exterior cleaning, screens, and tracks will take longer. We do not rush. Every window is finished to standard before we leave.
For exterior-only service, no. Just ensure all windows are firmly closed and we have access to any outdoor water spigots. Please also unlock any outdoor gates. For interior cleaning, someone must be present. We send a confirmation the evening before your appointment and a text when we are on our way, so there is no waiting around all day. We arrive on time, do the work, and let you know when we are done.
Exterior-only removes the weathering, oxidation, pollen, and mineral deposits that build up on the outside of your glass. It is what restores curb appeal and handles the majority of visible grime. Interior and exterior adds the inside surface. removing fingerprints, smudges, condensation buildup, and any haze that has formed on the inner glass. For the full effect of truly clear glass, both sides are recommended at least once a year.
Yes. Screen cleaning is included in our Full Service option. We use a water-fed brush to scrub each screen, which gives a thorough clean without risking damage to the mesh. Track and sill cleaning is also available as an add-on. We vacuum out debris and scrub the channel. Some tracks have rust, mineral deposits, or deeply embedded grime that will not fully lift no matter the technique. If that is the case with yours, we will let you know so there are no surprises.
Yes, for most cases. Hard water stains on Fort Wayne windows typically form from sprinkler systems or garden hoses carrying minerals from Indiana soil. the water dries and leaves calcium and silica deposits on the glass. Mild to moderate staining responds well to professional mineral removers, which we apply as a separate treatment. Severe or long-standing etching that has penetrated the glass surface may require a dedicated restoration visit. We will assess and be honest about what is possible before we start.
We serve Fort Wayne and the surrounding Allen County area, including New Haven, Leo-Cedarville, Huntertown, and Grabill. We also serve Garrett in DeKalb County. Not sure if you are in our service area? Call (260) 418-2347.
Yes. We understand that inviting someone onto your property and into your home requires a real level of trust. That is why we carry $1 million in general liability insurance on every job. Should anything unexpected happen, you are fully covered. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
